Job Description
Location
Andalusia, PA (onsite)
Compensation
USD 140,000 - 160,000 per year
Relocation
Relocation assistance provided
Responsibilities
- Own the full power electronics design lifecycle: topology, schematic, PCB, prototype, production, and field support — cradle to grave ownership, not handoffs
- Design and develop high‑power inverter and battery‑integrated systems up to 480VDC / 400ADC; multi‑kilowatt scale (systems up to 60kW)
- Lead hands‑on bench work including bring‑up, debugging, EMI mitigation, thermal management, and performance validation
- Design and specify AC/DC power supplies and conversion stages; working knowledge of both AC line‑side and DC bus‑side design is required
- Develop embedded control solutions using Microchip PIC/dsPIC, including firmware development and debugging
- Apply mechanical engineering sensibility to enclosure layout, thermal path design, and component integration
- Create test procedures, ensure compliance (NEC/UL/CSA), and support manufacturing, DFM, and field performance investigations
Requirements
- Experience in UPS manufacturing, DC power supply design, or industrial inverter/charger development is ideal
- Solar power electronics experience may be relevant depending on depth of power conversion involvement
- The ideal candidate is a self-directed tinkerer who takes things apart to understand them, builds prototypes with their own hands, and persists until the hardware works

We operate with a hands‑on, engineering‑driven culture where ownership, problem‑solving, and product excellence define how we work and what we ship.
Why join us
- Build real hardware that ships — own designs from concept to field performance
- Work on high‑power, real‑world energy systems used in demanding environments
- Join a hands‑on engineering culture that values builders, not just designers
- Solve complex challenges across power, thermal, EMI, and system integration
- Be part of a team that prioritizes ownership, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement
