Job Description

Join Jireh Semiconductor in Hillsboro, Oregon onsite, where your work directly improves silicon power device process technology and supports stronger yields and reliability. In this Process Integration Engineer role, you will help advance MOSFET/TVS technologies, strengthen existing process performance, and partner closely with device, process module, and product engineering groups to deliver measurable improvements from development through NPI and production monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development efforts for Power Device (MOSFET/TVS etc.) technologies at Jireh Semiconductor.
  • Run process simulation and create technology process flows including process specifications.
  • Work with the process module team to define test structures for process integration and process module development.
  • Design statistical experiments (DOE) and analyze results to optimize device architecture and/or process modules; perform device characterization and report outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal design groups to troubleshoot device-related problems, provide documentation and technical expertise, and maximize effective use of process technologies.
  • Develop devices with the highest level of reliability by working with Product Engineering and the Reliability group to test, characterize, and evaluate devices and processes.
  • Support NPI (New Product Introduction) on an existing platform, including analysis of DOE and pre-production lot data and documentation following the NPI procedure to release new product.
  • Respond to newly released platform safe launch stage yield monitor needs, including yield monitor/improvement actions.
  • Identify low-yield root causes using failure analysis, inline data analysis, and lot history.
  • Provide solutions for low yield through process condition splits design.

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in a development role; power device development is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of semiconductor process technology and wafer fabrication.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Knowledge of semiconductor device physics.
  • Experience with device processing and integration.
  • Experience with test structure definition.
  • Experience with design rule generation.
  • Experience with DOE.
  • Experience with failure analysis.
  • Experience with process control document (PCD) generation.
  • Experience with device characterization.
  • Discrete power device experience is preferred.

Compensation: USD 95,000 - 140,000 per year.
