Job Description

Everfab operates a precision-focused manufacturing environment where engineering support informs production on the shop floor. The Product Engineer/Manufacturing Technician role, onsite in East Aurora, NY, blends engineering input with the creation of production instructions, evaluation of equipment, and collaboration with customers and vendors on NPI and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clear production manufacturing and assembly instructions to operations personnel to sustain efficient production. These instructions include formal work instructions, assembly sheets, setup sheets, MPPs, and engineering memos.
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of equipment to meet production requirements for the operations department.
  • Ensure product integrity is maintained.
  • Monitor and drive improvement of key company and department metrics.
  • Provide guidance and resolve issues through email and other processes.
  • Participate in weekly technical discussions with the customer regarding design and manufacturing changes and improvements.
  • Travel to vendors to evaluate new equipment.
  • Travel to customers to discuss NPI opportunities.
  • Occasionally work additional hours to support program goals and product demand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering is preferred or equivalent 5 years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a machining environment with direct exposure to complex assemblies.
  • Hands-on experience with technical design elements, CAD, or direct CNC machining experience is a plus.
  • A Bachelor of Technology Degree in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant technical experience will also be accepted.

Pay

$80,000.00 - $92,250.00 per year
