Professional Engineer

Terra Tech Engineering supports civil, mining, environmental, and land development projects in Grundy, VA, and is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to help move projects from planning through permitting and documentation. This onsite position combines technical work with coordination across clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, with a compensation range of $75,000 to $95,000 per year.

What you’ll do

• Prepare engineering plans, reports, permit applications, and other project documentation
• Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies throughout the permitting process
• Review engineering designs and technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams

What you bring

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Experience preparing and obtaining permits with regulatory agencies
• Strong knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable regulations
• Project management experience preferred
