Project Engineer

Join Mission Critical Search to support hyperscale data center developments across the United States. This hybrid role based in Chandler, AZ coordinates mechanical, electrical and CSA work packages while assisting with procurement, installation, commissioning and turnover. The position provides a clear path to progression into Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager, recognizing your contributions to large-scale, technically demanding projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of mechanical, electrical and CSA work packages
• Direct subcontractors, suppliers and on-site field activities
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals and related technical documentation
• Track schedule performance, quality metrics and safety across the project
• Support procurement, material tracking and equipment logistics
• Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and client turnover
• Troubleshoot technical issues with engineering and construction teams
• Report project progress to Project Managers and Project Directors

Requirements

• 3 to 10 years of experience as a Project Engineer on large construction projects
• Experience delivering data centers, mission critical facilities, semiconductor fabs, pharmaceutical, biotech or other complex industrial projects
• Strong understanding of MEP and/or CSA construction
• Background with a General Contractor, EPC or Design-Build contractor
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Willingness to travel or relocate to project sites
