Project Engineer - Generator Services

Siemens Energy is seeking a Project Engineer for Generator Services to oversee engineering activities on major turbine generator repair and maintenance projects from its Mount Pleasant, PA site. In this role, you will lead planning efforts, assemble work packages, perform technical reviews, and maintain schedules that drive successful execution. Collaborating with Product Line, Marketing, and Technical Services teams will help identify and develop new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering oversight for significant turbine generator repair and maintenance programs
• Collaborate with Product Line, Marketing, and Technical Services teams to identify and pursue new opportunities
• Conduct risk assessments and develop detailed work instructions to fulfill contract scopes
• Create and manage project schedules that align customer expectations with business commitments
• Support tooling strategy, including procurement, improvements, and development aligned with product line needs
• Utilize Siemens Energy systems and tools to enable efficient project execution

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of field service experience; project management experience may be considered in lieu of field service for relevant Generator Services projects
• Experience with large electrical equipment, including generator inspection, testing, rewinds, and repairs
• Strong organizational, planning, and detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to safety
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored work authorization; Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers
