RF Design Engineer

Indotronix International Corporation is seeking an RF Design Engineer in Plano, TX. This onsite role centers on radio network design work across multiple LTE efforts, with a focus on technical planning, analysis, and design improvement.

The position requires strong RF engineering depth, recent experience in Radio Network Design, and leadership across LTE projects. The work emphasizes accurate link budget understanding and the use of planning and simulation tools to support sound network design planning and optimization.

• Develop and prepare technical documentation, and support development of new processes.
• Make recommendations to improve a network design (cell plan).

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of RF engineering experience.
• Minimum 3 to 4 years of recent experience in Radio Network Design.
• Past leadership experience in at least 3 LTE projects.
• One project must include serving as the leader for all technical activities in a large-scale (major metropolitan area or state-wide geographic area) effort, with responsibilities that include technical organization and oversight of work, and demonstrated excellence in communication with the team, project manager, and customer.
• Ability to address complex technical issues and provide creative solutions valuable to Ericsson’s business.
• Detailed understanding of the link budget.
• Extensive experience in planning tools including Planet EV and Atoll.
• Detailed understanding of required inputs, including how to create a new project in a planning tool, tilt/azimuth optimization, and proposing new site locations.
• Experience using the ACP (Automatic Cell Planning) tool.
• Detailed understanding of Monte Carlo analysis.
• Ability to perform model tuning.
• Ability to develop and prepare technical documentation and develop new processes.
