The LiRo Group's LiRo-Hill division invites an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of electrical systems across diverse facilities, while mentoring junior engineers. This onsite role is based in Boston, Massachusetts and offers a salary range of USD 150,000 to 180,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Oversee the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems for commercial, industrial, municipal, and healthcare facilities.
Perform load calculations and equipment sizing using industry-standard software.
Create detailed electrical drawings, specifications, details, and one-line diagrams.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as architects and structural engineers to integrate electrical design solutions.
Conduct site visits, field inspections, and construction administration activities, including review of shop drawings and RFIs.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
Lead QA/QC reviews to uphold high quality standards across projects.
Ensure adherence to local codes, standards, and client requirements.
Interface with clients, participate in project meetings, and present technical solutions.
Contribute to project sales proposals and client interviews.
Perform site assessments and prepare comprehensive technical reports.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in electrical design.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, energy efficiency standards, and sustainable design practices.
Excellent leadership, mentoring, and project management capabilities.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
