Senior Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low voltage systems for commercial, industrial, municipal, and healthcare facilities.
- Perform load calculations and equipment sizing using industry-standard software.
- Create detailed electrical drawings, specifications, details, and one-line diagrams.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as architects and structural engineers to integrate electrical design solutions.
- Conduct site visits, field inspections, and construction administration activities, including review of shop drawings and RFIs.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Lead QA/QC reviews to uphold high quality standards across projects.
- Ensure adherence to local codes, standards, and client requirements.
- Interface with clients, participate in project meetings, and present technical solutions.
- Contribute to project sales proposals and client interviews.
- Perform site assessments and prepare comprehensive technical reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of eight years of relevant experience in electrical design.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, energy efficiency standards, and sustainable design practices.
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and project management capabilities.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Compensation ranges from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually. Final pay is determined based on qualifications and location. The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States, as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
