Senior Software Engineer
Job Description
A Senior Software Engineer (levels 2 and 3) is sought to develop embedded real-time software for EA-18G Growler programs, with on-site work at Point Mugu and Camarillo, California.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded real-time system software for flight-critical applications
- Operate within an Agile environment as part of a scrum team
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve software and system defects
- Collaborate with customers, internal NGC sites, and cross-functional disciplines
- Contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical interchange meetings
- Utilize project tools such as Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest, and DOORS
- Work with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence for version control and collaboration
- Program in Ada, C/C++, and C#
- Develop and integrate on Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux environments
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in a STEM field with 5+ years of experience
- Master of Science in a STEM field with 3+ years of experience
- Experience with Ada, C/C++, and C#
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented software development
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of an integrated team
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.)
- U S Citizenship required
- DoD Secret Clearance or higher; interim Secret clearance acceptable
