Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded real-time system software for flight-critical applications
• Operate within an Agile environment as part of a scrum team
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve software and system defects
• Collaborate with customers, internal NGC sites, and cross-functional disciplines
• Contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical interchange meetings
• Utilize project tools such as Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest, and DOORS
• Work with Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence for version control and collaboration
• Program in Ada, C/C++, and C#
• Develop and integrate on Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux environments

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field with 5+ years of experience
• Master of Science in a STEM field with 3+ years of experience
• Experience with Ada, C/C++, and C#
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented software development
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of an integrated team
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.)
• U S Citizenship required
• DoD Secret Clearance or higher; interim Secret clearance acceptable
