Senior Software Engineer

Syzygy Integration builds technology solutions for law enforcement and first responders, including global situational awareness, counter drone systems, edge network sensors, and RF communications. This full-time Senior Software Engineer position supports mission-focused product development for teams working on systems that connect the front line to reliable software and data capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom software and database application capabilities across a mix of legacy and modernized systems with limited oversight
• Work as part of a product team, supporting teammates and aligning execution with a do what it takes mindset to drive product and team success
• Engineer complex multidisciplinary solutions that connect hardware interfaces, mobile applications, web applications, and edge computing within an Agile Scrum environment and iterative multi-sprint schedule
• Collaborate with other software and hardware engineers, stakeholders, and end users to ensure solutions are aligned to the people operating in the field

Requirements

• +10 years of experience as a full stack developer
• Experience with at least two of: Java (Spring), Swift (CoreData/CoreLocation/CoreBluetooth/MapKit/Networking/Combine), Kotlin (mobile and server side), C++, NodeJS
• Experience with at least one of: Angular, ReactNative, Flutter, ReactJS
• Experience with at least one of: Android Development, iOS Development
• Experience with at least one of: PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB
• Nice to have: JavaScript (or TypeScript), HTML5/CSS3, Docker
• US citizenship required
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check
• Must be open, willing, and able to get a security clearance (role question)
• Mentoring experience: 3 years (required)

• Work schedule: 5 days per week onsite
