Job Description

Software Engineer position in Lexington Park, MD (onsite) with Booz Allen Hamilton.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an end-to-end, production-ready solution in a fast, agile setting.
  • Design and implement software and systems from concept to production.
  • Learn new tools, identify system improvements, and propose enhancements.
  • Assist clients in solving challenging problems using modern architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.
  • Ensure the solution aligns with current architecture and operating environment while enabling future functionality and enhancements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications.
  • 2+ years of software development using languages and stacks such as C#, C, C++, .NET, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Experience writing source code for new applications or improving code samples for existing apps.
  • Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions.
  • Experience solving complex problems in a collaborative team environment.
  • Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

You Have

  • 2+ years designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications.
  • 2+ years of software development using languages and stacks including C#, C, C++, .NET, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Experience writing source code for new applications or enhancing code samples for existing applications.
  • Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions.
  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.

NICE IF YOU HAVE

  • Experience with Java, React, NodeJS, or database technologies.
  • Ability to acquire client requirements and resolve workflow problems through automation optimization.
  • Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance.
  • Top Secret clearance.

CLEARANCE

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

  • Salary is determined by factors such as location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements.
  • Projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
  • This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
