Job Description

Radiant Infotech is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and ship workflow applications end to end for public sector clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Develop back-end services, APIs, business logic, and integrations using Node.js, Python, and/or Java
  • Build secure, maintainable workflow applications supporting real-world government operations
  • Design, model, and optimize data using PostgreSQL and related relational systems
  • Use MongoDB or other document databases when they fit the problem
  • Design and implement REST APIs; use GraphQL when appropriate
  • Integrate with third-party systems, data sources, authentication providers, and cloud services
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools for prototyping, coding, refactoring, testing, documentation, and delivery acceleration
  • Evaluate agentic AI frameworks, LLM-based workflows, and automation patterns where they add product value
  • Translate complex, messy business processes into reliable, usable software
  • Collaborate with product, design, stakeholders, and other engineers
  • Maintain quality through code review, automated testing, debugging, monitoring, and production support
  • Build with security, performance, accessibility, and maintainability in mind, especially for public sector users

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (hard requirement, no exceptions)
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack, product, or application development roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Strong server-side development experience with Node.js, Python, and/or Java
  • Experience designing and building REST APIs
  • Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Experience with Git, code review, CI/CD workflows, Docker, and cloud deployment
  • Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and core web security fundamentals
  • Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT, OWASP Top 10, XSS, CSRF, and SQL injection prevention
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable code
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a small, fast-moving team
  • Comfort taking ownership of ambiguous problems
  • Practical engineering judgment around when to move fast, refactor, simplify, and slow down for quality
  • Strong attention to security, reliability, and production readiness

  • Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks or orchestration tools such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar platforms
  • Experience building workflow, case management, process automation, approval routing, or reporting systems
  • Experience working with public sector, government, GovCon, regulated, or security-conscious environments
  • Active GitHub profile, portfolio, technical blog, open-source contributions, or examples of shipped work
  • Experience taking products or features from concept through production release

Compensation and location

  • Location: Remote
  • Salary: USD 124,179 - 187,506 per year

  • Early-career applicants should include GitHub profile, portfolio, code samples, or shipped projects
