Software Engineer

Dialogue AI is hiring a Software Engineer in Los Angeles, CA to build a customer-first product spanning product, infrastructure, and AI.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a customer-first product by working across product, infrastructure, and AI
• Partner closely with a founding team from leading tech companies and universities to shape both product direction and team culture as the company scales
• Own meaningful product areas and drive execution with the team
• Help define and establish the team’s culture from day one

Requirements

• Ability to work across the entire stack, including frontend, backend, and AI
• Experience using modern AI tools, and the ability to adapt quickly (e.g., Claude Code, Codex)
• Self-motivated and career driven, comfortable taking on outsized responsibility
• Strong customer focus paired with a product and design mindset
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Bonus: experience with AI/ML development
• Open to candidates across all experience levels
