Software Engineer 4 (Admin IT) (TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly)

Revolution Technologies, LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Poly to anchor a new feature on an existing product platform. The role centers on architecting and designing features and delivering them through an Integrated Feature Team with cross-team collaboration, onsite at Fort Meade, Maryland.

Position Overview

The selected engineer will serve as the technical anchor for a newly added capability, translating complex requirements into robust, well-documented technical solutions. This position emphasizes architecture, design, and end-to-end delivery of features within an Integrated Feature Team to ensure high-quality outcomes across the software lifecycle.

Work Location

Fort George G Meade, MD (onsite).

Salary

USD 200,000 to 215,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and deconstruct complex requirements to determine their impact on the system
• Lead the creation of technical design documentation using object-oriented principles
• Ensure new features integrate smoothly while minimizing technical debt
• Act as the feature lead for new platform capabilities
• Guide features from concept through development, testing, and deployment
• Own feature completion and delivery standards
• Serve as the technical liaison with Systems Engineering teams
• Coordinate technical approaches, dependencies, and implementation constraints
• Break down high level designs into actionable development tasks
• Provide feature status reporting for leadership
• Mentor junior and mid-level software engineers
• Review merge requests to uphold coding standards, security compliance, and performance benchmarks

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Expert-level experience with Java (Java 17+ preferred) and Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and object-oriented design patterns
• Solid knowledge of REST interface standards and API best practices
• Effective communication skills and ability to facilitate cross-team collaboration
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• Ability to clearly articulate architecture and design concepts
• Experience creating technical documentation including wiki content, blogs, XML, and HTML documentation
