Job Description

SBT Global, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain commercial mobile applications for both Android and iOS. This contract role is based in Plano, TX and supports the complete mobile app development lifecycle, including API integration, release management, and enterprise iOS distribution needs.

Role Summary

The Software Engineer will contribute to the creation and ongoing upkeep of Android and iOS applications, covering mobile interface development, integration with REST APIs, push notification support, local data storage, and app lifecycle activities. The role also includes managing releases via Google Play and the Apple App Store, along with supporting enterprise iOS signing and MDM deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Android and iOS applications aligned with business requirements.
  • Build mobile interfaces and integrate REST APIs, push notifications, and local data storage.
  • Participate in technical design, coding, testing, and documentation activities.
  • Manage app releases and updates through Google Play and the Apple App Store.
  • Support enterprise iOS app signing, in-house distribution, MDM deployment, certificate renewal, and troubleshooting.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining commercial applications.
  • 3+ years of experience developing both Android and iOS applications using Java and Objective-C.
  • Proficiency with Android Studio, Xcode, Git, REST APIs, asynchronous programming, app lifecycle management, and memory management.
  • Experience publishing and updating applications through Google Play and the Apple App Store.
  • Hands-on experience with the Apple Developer Enterprise Program, distribution certificates, provisioning profiles, entitlements, and MDM-based deployment.
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation and work independently or with a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to discuss technical requirements and collaborate with stakeholders in both Korean and English.
  • Experience with Apple Business Manager and Custom Apps distribution.
