Software Engineer Co-op

CODONICS INC is seeking a Software Engineer Co-op in the Software Engineering department in Middleburg Heights, OH (onsite). This non-exempt co-op role blends hands-on product work with day-to-day department operations, giving you exposure to medical industry design control practices while contributing to real software development and testing efforts.

As a co-op student, you will support product development from design and implementation through testing and documentation. You will also collaborate with product managers and customers to understand product requirements, then help improve and maintain test procedures that support ongoing development work.

What you’ll do

• Participate in product development, including software design, implementation, and testing.
• Work with product managers and customers to understand product requirements.
• Perform, revise, and improve product test procedures.
• Prepare documentation and reports related to testing, design, and development activities.
• Learn and follow medical industry design control practices.
• Participate in daily operations of the Software Department across both projects and technology.
• Participate in medical industry trade shows.
• Complete any and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Student studying Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
