Software Engineer III
Job Description
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Software Engineer III to support the LE2 program for Electrical Ground Support Equipment on the FBM initiative. This onsite role near Littleton, Colorado, sits within a collaborative engineering environment and follows a 9x80 work schedule, combining hands-on software development with mission-focused systems work.
Responsibilities
- Provide software engineering support to the EGSE Organization
- Lead modernization efforts to improve efficiency, security, automation, and scalability
- Collaborate with software, systems, electrical, and test engineers within an Agile development framework
- Coordinate with the product line manager and directorates to align on needs and priorities
Requirements
- Programming experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, C#, LabView, Python, TestStand
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
- Experience working on project teams and development efforts
- Experience developing software requirements, CONOPs, and software design
- Experience with product life cycle (development, deployment) and HARDWARE/SOFTWARE integration on test equipment
- Issue tracking and troubleshooting experience
- US Citizenship required: Secret Clearance needed to start with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance

Compensation
Annual base salary range: USD 93,200 - 164,450
