Software Engineer Sr. – AI / Data Visualization Developer

This senior software engineering role focuses on delivering AI driven analytics and dashboards for Lockheed Martin's Digital Command Center within the Missiles and Fire Control CIO organization. The position is based in Grand Prairie, Texas with hybrid work arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Digital Command Center platform.
• Design and implement AI and data visualization solutions.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams on product design and Model Based Enterprise initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into analytics products that focus on user needs.
• Support planning, organization, and execution of enterprise initiatives.

Requirements

• U.S. citizen
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
• 3+ years combining design, development, and data visualization in professional settings
• Ability to translate design concepts into functional, interactive prototypes and production code
• Experience with modern front end technologies (React, Vue, Angular, Django or similar)
• Experience using AI development tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong storytelling abilities
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design to implementation projects, interactive dashboards, and data visualization solutions
• Experience with a variety of design and DevSecOps techniques (or Software Factory)
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field

Part-time Remote Telework: The selected employee will work part of their schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Specific weekly schedule details will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin supports various alternate schedules to provide flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over five days to condensed arrangements with additional time away from the office, in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
