Sr. Principal System Security Engineer, Anti Tamper

BAE Systems Inc. is seeking a Sr. Principal System Security Engineer, Anti Tamper to lead end-to-end security countermeasure efforts against current and future threats.

Responsibilities

• Design security architectures by analyzing adversary threats and proposing countermeasures
• Implement and test security countermeasures following guidance provided by the U.S. Government
• Apply and work with Security State of the Art (S-SOTA) technologies
• Develop defense-in-depth security solutions for customers
• Produce technical writing deliverables
• Plan tasks and support budgeting ownership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 8 or more years of work experience
• Understanding of systems engineering techniques and processes
• Writing system requirements
• Defining system architectures
• Integrating hardware and software
• Validating and verifying the delivered solution
• Leading an engineering team
• Technical writing

Preferred education, experience, & skills

• 10+ years of systems engineering experience
• Cryptographic algorithm implementation
• Configuring security features of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) S-SOTA components
• Firmware development for COTS S-SOTA components such as Xilinx or Microsemi FPGAs
• Applying secure coding practices, securing operating systems, and virtualization
• Implementing and configuring security protocols
• Attack and countermeasure analysis
• Model-Based Systems Engineering using Cameo or MagicDraw
• Developing positive customer relationships
• Product design development and design analysis for manufacturability and maintainability
• Technical engineering leadership
• Integration and Verification and Validation event conduct

Location: Nashua, NH (onsite) | Salary: USD 149,603 - 254,317 per yearly
