Job Description

Work on real-time embedded software for Software Defined Radios (SDR) powering fielded electronics in defense mission systems at BAE Systems Inc. You will join the New Hampshire team to develop Next Generation Electronic Systems Products and Solutions, collaborating across Systems, Hardware, and Test across the Software Development Lifecycle in a hybrid environment.

Hybrid in Hudson, NH with a flexible schedule including a 9/80 work schedule, every other Friday off, and a time split between onsite and remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, real-time embedded software for Software Defined Radios (SDR) on fielded electronics platforms.
  • Collaborate across multiple disciplines, working with Systems, Hardware, and Test Engineers to influence all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of related experience, or a Master of Science with 4+ years of related experience.
  • Development experience with Python, Java, and C++.
  • Experience with container technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, and Helm, plus Container Network Interfaces.
  • Experience developing software in a Linux environment.
  • Motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to perform a wide variety of related tasks.
  • Current Secret clearance.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience with Atlassian tools and/or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with gRPC and Pub/Sub frameworks (NATS, ActiveMQ, ZeroMQ, etc.).
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Agile Development experience.
  • JavaScript and HTML+CSS experience, including thin client web application development.

Location: Hudson, NH (hybrid)

Salary range: USD 118,095 - 200,762 per year
