Structural Engineer

DH Glabe & Associates is seeking a Structural Engineer to support structural design and investigation for heavy civil and large commercial structures. Based in Denver, CO with remote work available, this role centers on design engineering from early concept through project closeout, with a mix of calculations, drafting, and occasional site involvement.

Since 1985, the firm has focused on engineering temporary and unique structures for infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects, serving clients across the United States and some international locations. You will contribute to work on high-profile projects for a range of clientele.

Role Overview

• Primary focus on structural design engineering and calculations
• Work split includes 60% engineering and calculations, 30% drafting, and 10% field or site visits
• Responsibilities span the full project lifecycle, taking work from inception to completion

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design, engineering, and drafting
• Support client relations
• Conduct project inspections
• Attend site meetings as needed
• Manage projects from inception to completion

Requirements

• Civil/Structural or related Engineering degree from an accredited institution
• 2+ years minimum post-graduation experience working for a professional engineering firm (internships do not meet this requirement)
• E.I. or P.E
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Proficiency with AutoCAD 2016 or later
• Experience with Risa 2D/3D or similar tools
• Solidworks or similar FEA experience is a big plus

Compensation and Location

• Location: Denver, CO (remote)
• Salary: USD 75,000 - 110,000 per year
