Systems Engineers

Systems Engineers to support Ground Missile Defense (GMD) Weapons Systems engineering work in Huntsville, AL (onsite). The position requires U.S. citizenship with an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) clearance, plus a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and five or more years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering work on Ground Missile Defense (GMD) Weapons Systems.
• Perform on-site work at the customer site in Huntsville, AL.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance (with the ability to acquire and maintain a TS level clearance).
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline.
• Recent experience in one or more of the following areas: requirements development, validation and test, data analysis, performance analysis, or physics/mathematics-based algorithm development.
• Experience reading and understanding C++, Java, Python, and/or Ada programming languages.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical personnel.
• Professional experience in Ballistic Missile Defense, midcourse missile defense, battle management, threat state processing, weapon target assignment.
• Professional experience developing analysis tools in MATLAB and Python.
• High comfort level using the Atlassian toolset (Jira/Confluence).

Compensation

Salary: USD 100,000 - 150,000 per year.
