Job Description
Alexander Mann Solutions is seeking a Tech & Engineering Recruiter to support client hiring managers with high-volume engineering and field recruitment. This onsite contract role in Cleveland, OH is focused on delivering strong candidate experiences while meeting quality thresholds and SLA/KPIs tied to target start dates.
You will work in a high-touch workflow, partnering closely with hiring stakeholders and contributing to sourcing strategy and talent insights. The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership across candidate pipeline development, proactive search for specialist profiles, and accurate presentation of shortlists to help clients make informed selection decisions.
Responsibilities
- Build strong partnerships with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to deliver an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Lead recruiting discussions and be recognized as a thought leader in sourcing strategy.
- Collaborate with sourcing and talent intelligence experts to develop recruiting strategies informed by market insights.
- Deliver high-quality candidate shortlists with accurate, complete information and clear recommendations.
- Share candidate feedback, challenges, and successes, recommending adjustments such as alternative locations, talent pools, or job description updates.
- Apply innovative thinking and ongoing professional development to improve outcomes, including for passive candidates.
- Create and post compelling, accurate job adverts that strengthen the client brand and attract strong applicants.
- Develop sourcing strategies using channels such as LinkedIn and social media, using a proactive approach for niche and specialist roles.
- Use data to measure sourcing effectiveness, refine strategies continuously, and share insights and successes.
- Engage candidates professionally across multiple channels including email, LinkedIn, and phone, conducting regular headhunting for specialist talent.
- Build understanding of candidate skills, motivations, and career aspirations to support selection decisions.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the process and build long-term talent pools.
- Present candidates accurately and compellingly to clients, advocating for diverse and bias-free selection processes.
- Track progress, performance, and recruitment data in relevant systems.
- Champion candidates through honest, meaningful career discussions and ensure candidates feel supported and informed.
- Build lasting relationships so candidates can become long-term advocates regardless of hiring outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience recruiting and sourcing across the energy sector, including field technicians, electricians, engineering professionals, and operations roles.
- Experience supporting recruitment for field-based environments, data centers, electrical energy, and power-related operations, with understanding of technical requirements.
- Proven expertise in candidate pipeline development, market research, proactive sourcing, and delivering exceptional hiring outcomes.
- Strong understanding of specialized talent markets, including professionals responsible for equipment inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and field service, plus various engineering disciplines.
- Experience recruiting for high-volume and specialized technical roles, with ability to identify and engage talent in competitive engineering and skilled-trades markets.
- End-to-end recruitment experience including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and stakeholder consultation.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing and evaluation methods such as talent mapping, competency-based interviewing, and selection methodologies.
- Highly developed relationship management skills with hiring managers, candidates, and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities independently, and deliver against timelines and objectives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement capability, able to advise, influence, and manage expectations at multiple levels.
- Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced, high-demand recruitment environments.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills to balance competing demands in high-volume settings.
- High attention to quality with accuracy and compliance across recruitment processes.
- Accountability and ownership for delivery outcomes and service excellence.
- Advanced proficiency in adhering to recruitment processes, governance frameworks, and best-practice guidelines.

- Job type: Contract
- Contract length: 3 months initially, with potential for extension
- Salary range: USD 78,000 - 103,000 per yearly
- Candidate location requirement: Candidates will need to reside in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Georgia, Florida, Texas or New York.
