UI/UX Design Engineer

StradIT is hiring a UI/UX Design Engineer to define end-to-end user experiences and deliver user interface designs in close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams. The position emphasizes user research, usability validation, accessible design aligned to WCAG, and continuous improvement through prototypes and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Perform user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability assessments to inform design decisions.
• Study user journeys, workflows, and pain points to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create personas, journey maps, information architecture, and task flows.
• Define complete user experiences that align with business objectives.
• Produce wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Design intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces.
• Establish and maintain design standards, style guides, and reusable design components.
• Ensure design consistency across web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams across the product lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support product discovery activities.
• Translate business requirements into design specifications for development teams.
• Review implementations to ensure they align with approved design solutions.
• Conduct usability testing, collect user feedback, and analyze results to guide iteration.
• Validate design solutions through prototypes and testing outcomes.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging UX practices.
• Ensure solutions comply with accessibility standards, including WCAG.
• Advocate for inclusive, user-centered design practices.
• Support design reviews and quality assurance activities.
• Promote best practices related to performance, usability, and customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of UI/UX design experience for enterprise web or mobile applications.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX and UI design work.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and design systems.
• Solid understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and usability principles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing financial services, fintech, or enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with Design Systems and Component Libraries.
• Understanding of Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture and modern web technologies.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React.
• Experience with user analytics and A/B testing.
