Job Description

The User Interface (UI) Automated Test Engineer on the C2BMC program will support automated testing efforts for C2BMC UI products. The role focuses on building an automated testing framework and developing test scripts, using Python alongside software development in Java and C++.

Role Overview

This position is dedicated to the C2BMC program, with responsibility for assisting in the design and implementation of an automated testing framework for a suite of C2BMC UI products. The Automated Test Engineer will develop automated test scripts using Python and will also contribute to software development in Java and C++ for C2BMC UI components.

Responsibilities

  • Support the C2BMC program as a User Interface (UI) Automated Test Engineer.
  • Perform software development in Java, C++, and Python for the C2BMC User Interface (UI).
  • Under minimal direction, assist in designing and implementing an automated testing framework for the suite of C2BMC UI products.
  • Apply knowledge of automated testing by understanding test requirements and developing automated test scripts in Python.

Required Qualifications

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to operate in a highly dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of Automated Testing.
  • Basic understanding with Git and Gitlab.
  • Knowledge of common software development and management tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
  • Familiarity with software engineering and Python development.
  • Willingness to take on unanticipated tasking.
  • Typically 1+ years of related experience, or a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Eclipse, VS Code, Maven, Gradle, ClearCase, Jenkins, PyAutoGUI, and Tesseract.

  • Security+ certification is desired.
  • Experience using the Selenium framework to test web applications.
