Full time Autodesk Inventor Design Engineering Engineering

Application Engineer - Compressor Valves at Hoerbiger, onsite in Pompano Beach, FL.

Maintain and expand the standard valve product portfolio for OEM customers.
Perform part inspections and produce detailed technical reports with actionable recommendations.
Lead projects from initiation to completion, coordinating work and providing timely status updates in the Workflow system.
Proactively address technical challenges by evaluating options, presenting viable solutions, and implementing decisions.
Provide emergency technical support, including occasional travel to customer sites for critical troubleshooting (typically 2–3 trips per year).

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or 3-4 years of relevant experience.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on evaluating trade-offs to achieve optimal results.
Solid understanding of assembly drawings, piping diagrams, and technical manuals.
Foundational knowledge of ASTM/ASME specifications, pipe flange design, and steel metallurgy.
Proficiency in CAD modeling, with Autodesk Inventor preferred.
Experience with database querying using SQL and Excel VLOOKUP.
