Building Power Electrical Engineer (FE or PE license preferred)

Fusion Electric & Automation, LLC offers an onsite, full-time opportunity in Naples, FL with a starting salary of $100,000 per year and a benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays. This senior technical electrical engineer and project management role focuses on design, estimating, and management of residential and commercial electrical installations. Preference is given to candidates with FE or PE licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantity takeoffs to prepare estimates and proposals
• Manage contracted work through the construction phases
• Develop electrical engineering calculations and designs for residential and commercial projects, including load calculations
• Develop electrical engineering calculations and designs for residential and commercial projects, including riser diagrams
• Develop electrical engineering calculations and designs for residential and commercial projects, including panel schedules
• Develop electrical engineering calculations and designs for residential and commercial projects, including branch circuit wiring design
• Size standby power generators

Requirements

• BS in Architectural (Electrical Specialty) or BS in Electrical Engineering
• Previous construction related engineering experience
• Knowledge of the NEC and NFPA codes
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office products, with high levels of experience in Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a background and drug test
• Self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with employees, vendors, and clients
