Civil Engineer (5+ yrs experience)

Senior Site Civil Engineer role with Andover Consultants, Inc. focusing on land development, permitting, stormwater design, and client/town communications. Requires 5+ years of experience and a Professional Engineer license.

Responsibilities

• Work on residential, commercial, and institutional projects
• Subdivision roadway layouts
• Grading and drainage
• Utility design
• Stormwater management reports
• State/local permitting
• Prepare site permitting plans
• Prepare land development plans
• Prepare associated permitting documents and applications
• Design and analyze site stormwater systems
• Prepare technical stormwater management reports using HydroCAD to model pre- and post-development conditions
• Attend client meetings
• Present at meetings with Town officials and public hearings

Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) License
• Minimum 5 years of experience in site civil engineering
• Proficient in Civil3D, HydroCAD, StormCAD, Hydraflow, and related software
• Strong project management and communication skills; able to coordinate with team members, clients, and Town/City officials
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of critical thinking
