Civil Engineer - Professional Engineer

The role places you in a technical leadership capacity, guiding design, permitting, and regulatory compliance, with a salary range of USD 85,000 to 125,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead engineer for civil engineering projects along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
• Manage civil engineering initiatives from proposal through construction.
• Design grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, roadways, and site development components.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and construction plans.
• Interpret and apply Mississippi state and local development regulations, permitting requirements, and engineering standards.
• Coordinate with surveyors, geotechnical engineers, architects, utility providers, permitting agencies, and other consultants.
• Respond to agency review comments and attend meetings with clients and permitting agencies.
• Collaborate with the team on projects in other states as needed.

Requirements

• Licensed Professional Engineer in Mississippi.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Mississippi design standards, permitting processes, stormwater regulations, and local development requirements.
• Experience with site development, grading, drainage, stormwater, and municipal projects.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
