CNC Field Service Engineer

Ellison Technologies is seeking a CNC Field Service Engineer to support customers across a locally defined territory centered on the Southern Ohio Market. This is an onsite, hands-on role focused on keeping CNC machining and turning equipment operating reliably through field service, installations, and preventive maintenance.

In this position, you will manage day-to-day service needs in the field, respond to customer issues, and contribute to sales support and some training when required. You will also represent Ellison Technologies professionally and ethically while taking ownership of service cases and maintaining accurate customer records and technical documentation.

What you’ll do

• Handle day-to-day field service, including service, installations, and/or preventive maintenance for the local market
• Perform field service, installations, and/or PMs as required
• Resolve customer issues and provide sales support and some training
• Communicate effectively with a variety of different people
• Maintain professional and ethical conduct aligned with business expectations at all times
• Take ownership of service cases and projects, including maintaining customer records and technical documentation
• Complete other related duties as assigned

What you bring

• Ideally experience installing, maintaining, and/or repairing CNC machining centers and CNC turning centers
• Developed repair skills with a focus on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical aspects of CNC equipment

Travel expectations

• Some travel is required, with expectations to remain local and have minimal nights away during the week
• No weekend travel is expected
