Job Description

McAfee is hiring a Hybrid Data Analyst / Engineer to support its Consumer Protection Team in transforming operational analytics into actionable, trustworthy insights. Based in Frisco, TX, this role combines scalable data engineering, AI/ML-powered analysis, and real-time monitoring to help improve both threat-related understanding and consumer experiences. The position requires 2 to 3 days per week on-site with work from a home office on the remaining days.

Role Overview

This hybrid role is located in Frisco, USA. McAfee is only considering candidates within a commutable distance to the Frisco office and is not offering relocation assistance. Responsibilities focus on improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Consumer Protection (CP) products through scalable data pipelines, AI-powered insights, and real-time monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive data metrics from telemetry and user data to support threat analysis and optimize user experience (UX).
  • Develop and optimize data-driven insights and solutions using AI/ML.
  • Create solutions that combine external and internal data sources to enhance consumer experience.
  • Build scalable ETL pipelines to process large-volume telemetry across heterogeneous systems.
  • Implement real-time dashboards to monitor product health and operational issues, while maintaining data quality and integrity.
  • Ensure AI integration across a polyglot environment spanning Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Data Engineering experience and 1+ year of hands-on AI/ML experience.
  • Experience with Spark, Kafka, ETL pipelines, and a data warehouse such as Databricks.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with emphasis on AI/ML services.
  • Experience with API development (including REST and GraphQL) and real-time systems.
  • Cybersecurity platform knowledge and experience with MCP implementation.
  • Critical thinking to evaluate trade-offs and solve complex data problems.

Compensation

USD 93,370 - 153,400 per year.
