Compensation

Salary: USD 57,200 - 108,800 per year.

Location

Onsite in Tucson, Arizona.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion and related analog circuitry, focusing on non-isolated and isolated switch-mode converters and linear converters for board-mounted end-use applications.
  • Support circuit card development from requirements definition through initial integration testing.
  • Develop and execute test procedures, capture data, and analyze results to verify compliance with project requirements.
  • Guide ECAD drafters during layout and routing with moderate oversight from senior engineers; assist in defining layer stackups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with relevant experience, or an advanced STEM degree.
  • Design, analysis, test, or simulation experience with non-isolated converter topologies such as buck, boost, or buck-boost.
  • Experience using MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar engineering tools.
  • Experience in analog electronics design, including at least one of the following: FETs/BJTs, op-amps, filters (high, low, or band pass), clock/data termination, and comparator circuits.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
