Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Electrical Engineer position with Benchmark Space Systems in Burlington, VT (onsite), offering USD 100,000 - 130,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Convert cross-functional system requirements into PCB designs by collaborating with diverse teams
- Partner with Mechanical Engineering to define PCB interfaces and drive circuit design and layout choices
- Conduct bring-up and validation testing to verify operation across varied environmental and electrical conditions
- Create clear assembly and integration documentation to guide production technicians
- Lead design reviews for peers and provide constructive feedback on their designs
- Support additional duties as needed to aid overall business operations
- Maintain Benchmark Space Systems' reputation for honesty, integrity, accountability, and transparency in all activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field
- 7+ years of circuit design and PCB layout experience
- Experience managing design requirement flows and leading design reviews
- Strong organizational skills, thorough record-keeping, and clear written and verbal communication
