Electrical Engineer

Alares LLC is hiring an experienced licensed Electrical Engineer for an hourly contract position based in Pineville, LA, onsite. This role supports electrical oversight for hospital construction efforts in Louisiana, with a focus on drawings review, inspections, and bid-phase verification.

Role Summary

Key activities include monitoring and improving hospital construction projects. The position involves reviewing electrical drawings, conducting inspections, preparing site visit reports, assisting with scopes of work, and supporting bid and field verification. The engineer will also verify system sequences of operations to confirm that air handler units, chillers, and heating systems function seamlessly, and will assess existing systems for renovation work by providing essential data.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings
• Conduct construction inspections
• Prepare site visit reports
• Prepare scopes of work
• Evaluate contractor performance
• Ensure system sequences of operations, verifying air handler units, chillers, and heating systems operate seamlessly
• Collaborate with contractors during the bid phase to support design integrity
• Assess existing systems for renovation projects and provide essential data
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• 3 years of valid residency in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a federal background check
• Valid driver’s license
• Proactive and collaborative team member
• Construction oversight experience

Additional Qualifications
