Electrical Engineer

GPac is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Sacramento, CA to lead and execute electrical design work on multi-discipline building projects. This onsite role supports end-to-end project involvement, from early concepts through key deliverables, spanning lighting, power distribution, communications, and fire alarm systems.

The position includes both technical design and coordination responsibilities, with a focus on aligning electrical requirements across clients and consultants, reviewing designs against applicable standards, and supporting team execution through drafting and oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline building projects across all phases of the process
• Perform electrical design tasks and calculations for building electrical design scope
• Coordinate project electrical requirements with clients and consultants (in-house and outside)
• Conduct code reviews
• Provide drafting support and oversee assigned EITs
• Establish and maintain electrical fees, including budgeting for assigned projects
• Work independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-discipline team to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports

Qualifications

• P.E. licensure, preferred
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of experience
• Expertise in building electrical design including lighting, power distribution, communications, and fire alarm
• AutoCAD and Revit experience (Revit noted as a plus)

• Salary: USD 105,000 - 125,000 per year (exceptions possible based on experience level)
