Electrical Engineer

Overview

Billco Manufacturing, Inc., an OEM in the flat glass sector, is seeking an electrical engineer to design, develop, and debug custom control strategies for our family of high quality glass processing equipment, including PLC, CNC, and PC based systems. The role focuses on programming and commissioning of the control systems, both in our facility and in the field. Some travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug custom control strategies for glass processing equipment, including PLC, CNC, and PC based systems
• Program and commission control systems, both here and in the field

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Five years of relevant experience designing and programming industrial control systems
• Experience working with multiple control platforms, including Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Bosch, Beckhoff, and GE Fanuc; have knowledge of one or more and the ability to learn additional platforms quickly
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Working knowledge of CAD and standard drawing procedures
• Familiarity with prevalent electrical codes

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: From $90,000.00 per year
