Electrical Engineer

Billco Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to advance the design, development, and debugging of control strategies for its glass processing equipment. The role centers on programming and commissioning PLC, CNC, and PC-based control systems, with onsite responsibilities in Zelienople, PA and occasional field work.

Location: Zelienople, PA (onsite)

Salary: USD 90,000 per year

Minimum experience: 5 years

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

Travel: Some travel may be required for field work

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug custom control strategies for Billco Manufacturing's family of high-quality glass processing equipment, including PLC, CNC, and PC systems.
• Emphasize programming and commissioning of the control systems, both here and in the field.
• Work with a variety of control platforms, such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Bosch, Beckhoff, and GE Fanuc, and be capable of learning new platforms quickly.
• May require travel.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5 years relevant experience designing and programming industrial control systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• A working knowledge of CAD and standard drawing procedures
• Familiarity with prevalent electrical codes
