Responsibilities
- Manage full lifecycle project execution from bidding document review through project closeout, maintaining strict compliance with technical specifications and safety standards
- Lead and collaborate with project teams, including prime contractors, electrical foreman, architects, and engineers, to maintain unified project direction
- Monitor job costs, create detailed Job Cost Projections, and manage the cost control system to protect project profitability
- Process, manage, and inspect material deliveries, confirming quality control standards and adherence to strict contract submittals
- Formulate and update dynamic project schedules, anticipating milestone targets and proactively addressing operational bottlenecks
- Oversee change order estimates, RFIs, and monthly pay estimates to support accurate financial reporting and workflow
- Maintain document control across submittals, transmittals, and progress reports to support audit readiness and operational transparency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing complex electrical construction projects
- Proven experience executing projects with public agencies such as the Metropolitan Transit Authority and School Construction Authority
- Deep technical comprehension of industrial and commercial electrical systems
- Strong proficiency in managing project budgets, job cost analysis, scheduling, and value engineering processes
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and ProCore
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate directly with field superintendents, general foremen, and prime contractors
- Experience reading drawings and understanding how to build electrical scope, not only financial tracking
