Embedded Software Engineer
Job Description
The Embedded Software Engineer will design, implement, test, and maintain OpenRTOS based embedded software for heavy machinery, collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver robust and maintainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Create and sustain embedded software tools and scripts to boost development efficiency and user experience.
- Design, implement, test, and validate embedded software for OpenRTOS based systems.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver software solutions and provide technical support.
- Produce engineering documentation, specifications, and software design standards.
- Conduct software analysis, testing, debugging, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Lead innovation initiatives for next generation embedded software development tools.
- Support project planning, risk management, and engineering reviews throughout the software lifecycle.
- Ensure software quality using Agile development practices and modern engineering methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of embedded software development experience.
- 1 year of Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
- 1 year of OpenRTOS or RTOS exposure.
- Proficiency in C, C++, C#, or Java programming.
- Object-Oriented Design (OOP) familiarity.
- Experience with software testing and debugging.
- Experience with engineering documentation and standards.
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
