Full Stack Software Engineer

Premier Global Links is seeking a hands-on Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and improve software used across private markets and venture capital operations, including portfolio monitoring, valuations, and financial and LP reporting. The role works closely with investor and finance stakeholders and delivers production features across Python, React and TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance applications for portfolio monitoring, valuations, financial reporting, and LP reporting
• Develop automated data ingestion pipelines and data-quality workflows
• Create tools to identify and resolve financial data discrepancies
• Design and maintain scalable backend services using Python
• Build responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript
• Design and maintain PostgreSQL data models for complex financial data
• Partner with investor, finance, and operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into software
• Develop AI/LLM-powered internal tools where appropriate
• Own features from technical design through production deployment and ongoing improvement
• Participate in production ownership, monitoring, and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience
• Production experience with Python, React, and TypeScript
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills, including solid data modeling experience
• Professional experience building software for private markets, venture capital, investment management, or startup financial operations
• Experience with one or more of: Cap tables; Ownership and dilution; Valuations; Portfolio monitoring; Financial reporting; LP reporting; Fund operations; Capital calls
• Strong ability to work directly with business and investor stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience shipping and maintaining production software
• Ability to work as a hands-on individual contributor engineer
• Ability to work hybrid in Foster City, CA or San Francisco, CA, approximately 3 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a venture capital fund, private markets platform, or financial technology company
• Experience with platforms such as Carta, PitchBook, Pulley, Juniper Square, Aumni, Chronograph, or similar
• AWS production experience, including ECS, CI/CD, and monitoring
• Experience building production applications using LLMs, including retrieval, evaluation, or agent tooling
• Experience working with complex financial or investment datasets

Compensation

$200,000–$250,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation such as equity or bonus may be available.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid role based in Foster City, CA (with office locations in Foster City and San Francisco, CA). The role requires approximately 3 days per week in the office, with flexibility around schedule.
