Future Payloads Electrical Engineer

Experienced Electrical Engineer sought to support future payloads systems for the ICBM Directorate, assisting AFNWC's future payload team with requirements development, integration, and lifecycle activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering tasks and projects, conduct system and subsystem design reviews, coordinate Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and perform related duties.
• Assist the Air Force Program Office with requirements development, acquisitions documentation, and program transition.
• .coordinate integration of ICBM program risks, schedules, and milestones; manage IMS coordination, update roadmap entries, and interface with reviews such as Requirements Verification Board (RVB) and Technical Evaluation Review Boards (TERB).
• Leverage experience or education to develop briefings, program plans, spreadsheets, and performance measures for technical programs under short suspense demands with minimal input from managers or customers.
• Conduct integrated engineering life cycle assessments across production, verification, validation, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution to identify and mitigate design, digital models, production, and test deficiencies that could impact mission assurance.
• Perform reliability analyses and coordinate with industry on designs and tests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Master's degree with 5+ years of experience.
• DoD Secret Clearance.

Pay Information

• Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486
• Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
