Job Description
Senior Software Engineer role at Trinzic supporting the U.S. Army Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Support development, integration, testing, and sustainment of mission-critical software for Army Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) components and systems
- Analyze OEM system software changes and assess their impact
- Support and evaluate software testing activities and fault isolation
- Analyze testing outcomes for system regression
- Assist with software configuration management
- Manage system and software requirement relationships
- Support meetings and design spaces focused on software and hardware (HW) interfaces
- Interface with IAMD customers, warfighters, and other stakeholders in technical meetings to define, maintain, and grow system capabilities and software system requirements
Requirements
- Master’s degree in software engineering or computer science
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
- 5+ years of software development experience supporting complex systems
- Experience developing software using C++, C, Python, or similar programming languages
- Proficiency working in Linux or Unix-based development environments
- Experience with software integration, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Agile software development and modern development tools such as Git, Jira, Bitbucket, GitLab in support of DoW or defense-related programs
- Ability to work effectively with Government, contractor, and cross-functional engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Patriot and IBCS
- Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL), integration labs, or system-level testing
- Experience with embedded software development and/or real-time Linux environments
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), requirements development, or system architecture activities
- Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and software configuration management
- Experience implementing RMF, cybersecurity, or secure software development practices
- Experience serving in a technical lead, integration lead, or software architecture role
- Active DoD Secret clearance
