Ground Software Engineer Stf

Ground Software Engineer (Level 4) at Lockheed Martin Space requires TS/SCI clearance and centers on cloud-based mission management and command-and-control software, employing Java, Angular, and Python within an Agile/DevSecOps environment at King of Prussia, PA or Littleton, CO.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-based, enterprise-grade solutions to support mission management and command-and-control operations, prioritizing reliability and scalable data handling.
• Design, implement, test, and maintain object-oriented ground system software using Java, Angular, and Python across the program's software stack.
• Lead modernization initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, strengthening security, automating workflows, and enabling scalable capabilities.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of software, systems, and test engineers within an Agile DevSecOps framework to deliver iterative improvements.

Requirements

• Proven software engineering background with a record of delivering projects on schedule and to specification.
• Experience building ground subsystems or subsystems components within complex environments.
• Strong expertise in scaled Agile development methodologies and effective communication for collaboration across Agile teams.
• Active TS clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SCI) designation.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.
• BS degree required.
