Job Description
Growth Engineer for the Growth Team at Sprinter Health, San Francisco, CA (hybrid)
Responsibilities
- Design and ship experiments to drive patient bookings, including message copy tests, outreach timing, and new in product booking flows
- Improve multi channel engagement across SMS, phone, email, and mail to reach patients who typically do not schedule care
- Lead rapid brainstorming and sizing exercises to prioritize the next growth bets
- Define and monitor funnel metrics to track drop-off, activation, and conversion
- Share insights through clear reporting and experiment reviews with cross functional partners
- Test unconventional tactics like door knocking pilots and simulate outreach volume against clinical supply and demand
Requirements
- 2+ years as a software engineer, including 1–2 years on a growth or experimentation focused team
- Mentored earlier career engineers and held pod level ownership on projects
- Built and iterated on backend systems powering experimentation, messaging, funnels, or activation flows
- Shipped and measured experiments that moved core metrics such as activation, conversion, retention, or bookings
- Used data to identify drop offs, size opportunities, and prioritize what to build next
- Collaborated with product, design, data, or operations to turn insights into shipped features
- Balanced speed and impact in a startup or high growth environment

USD 165,000 to 205,000 per year
