You’ll prototype quickly, explore AI-powered workflows, and partner with teammates to turn customer problems tied to construction projects into working marketplace services.

This role focuses on shipping real features and reusable building blocks for Marketplace products, while using AI coding tools to support development and prototype AI-driven functionality.

What you’ll do

  • Develop features, APIs, internal tools, and reusable components for Marketplace products, collaborating on design, implementation, testing, and code review.
  • Convert early product concepts into working prototypes and MVPs by building quickly, learning from feedback, and improving what’s shipped.
  • Use AI coding tools as part of your daily workflow and help create AI-powered capabilities such as document extraction, data validation, agent-driven workflows, and automation.
  • Build backend confidence, working with services and APIs, asynchronous workflows, data models, testing, and reliability and maintainability practices.
  • Join customer discovery conversations, observe how users interact with the products, and translate insights into improvements.
  • Find workflow friction, fix bugs, improve usability, and help make products more reliable and valuable to customers.
  • Learn how a workflow operates before automating it, then build tools and integrations that reduce repetitive work and improve efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews, ask questions, incorporate feedback, and gradually take on larger engineering ownership.
