Clipboard's Vault team is building the financial backbone of the healthcare staffing marketplace. As a Software Engineer on Vault, you will own high-stakes systems for payments, fraud detection, and invoicing and reconciliation, with a direct impact on both facilities and workers. This onsite role is based in San Francisco, California.
Compensation
USD 180,000 - 400,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Payment flows including instant pay, and facility invoicing and billing
- Fraud detection and prevention
- Invoicing and reconciliation logic that makes sure workers are paid correctly and facilities are billed accurately
- Additionally you’d be working with operations and finance stakeholders, so it’s critical to understand the business impact of what you build and how it affects the facilities and the workers who use Clipboard
Requirements
- Care deeply about correctness and put the customer first
- Own high stakes systems end to end, and be willing to own those systems when they break
- Prior experience with transaction systems, payment infrastructure, and working with financial data at scale is a plus

Vault owns the financial infrastructure that powers Clipboard's marketplace - worker payouts, instant pay, facility invoicing, fraud controls, and billing operations.
