IT-Technical Support Engineer - Full Time
Job Description
Northfield Park Racino in Northfield, Ohio is seeking an IT-Technical Support Engineer for a full-time, on-site role. The position offers a pay rate of $24-$26 per hour and requires a high school diploma or equivalent. The successful candidate will provide first-line technical support to Team Members across the property, troubleshooting and maintaining end-user technology including PCs, printers, POS systems, mobile devices, phones, kiosks, and related IT equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide initial technical assistance for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues across the property.
- Install, configure, and maintain company-approved hardware and software.
- Address service requests and incidents promptly and professionally.
- Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Assist with onboarding and setup of new Team Members, including workstation deployment and account verification.
- Support software updates, patch management, and basic system maintenance tasks.
- Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and procedures in the IT ticketing system.
- Adhere to established IT security policies, standards, and operational procedures.
- Assist with IT projects, equipment replacements, and technology deployments.
- Maintain accurate inventory of assigned IT equipment and peripherals.
- Provide professional customer service and communicate technical information in a user-friendly manner.
Requirements

- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Minimum 6 months of prior relevant experience in Information Technology.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
