IT Support Engineer

AtoZinIT is hiring an IT Support Engineer in Charlotte, NC to deliver hands-on troubleshooting and day-to-day support across desktop, network, and business application environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues
• Support desktops and laptops, including printers and business applications
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software
• Troubleshoot basic networking problems involving Wi-Fi, VPNs, DNS, and TCP/IP
• Help manage user access, including accounts, permissions, password resets, and access management
• Track support requests and document troubleshooting steps in a ticketing system
• Perform routine system updates, patching, and maintenance
• Support endpoint security tools and follow IT security policies
• Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers or specialized technical teams
• Maintain IT asset inventories and technical documentation

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Preferred: experience in IT support, help desk operations, or technical troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
• Knowledge of computer hardware, networking fundamentals, and software installation
• Understanding of ticketing systems and remote support tools
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and provide professional customer service

Pay

• $55,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
