IT Support Engineer I, IT Support

Join a team that delivers reliable, hands-on on-site IT support for Amazon corporate employees in Bellevue, WA 98006. This role focuses on owning the end-to-end IT experience, from diagnosing hardware and software issues to supporting high-severity incidents, performing change management in a high availability environment, and helping improve operational excellence.

What you’ll do

• Provide on-site, high quality, hands-on support, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues; review log files to assess the health of systems, software, and hardware
• Support high severity incidents through on-call coverage and serve as an escalation point of contact for the team
• Assist in triaging and escalating system or network outages to reduce downtime
• Understand and execute change management activities within a high availability environment
• Work with partner teams and vendors on continuous improvement projects, including defining requirements and managing execution to deliver operational value
• Oversee IT asset inventory management
• Participate in hiring efforts, and support training and development of peers and new team members as a mentor, leveraging diverse perspectives
• Continuously expand skills by learning current technologies and maintaining knowledge of IT policies to provide technically accurate solutions

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer-facing role experience
• 2+ years supporting corporate setting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems
• 2+ years networking experience (for example: DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP)
• 2+ years troubleshooting in a multi-user, high availability environment
• 2+ years PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation experience
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• Fluency in English for speaking, writing, and reading, with the ability to take direction in English
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Compensation & location

$30–$41 per hour, onsite in Bellevue, WA 98006.
