Java Software Engineer - Level 3
Job Description
The role centers on developing and deploying full stack Java and JavaScript software within an Agile Scrum team, supporting space domain systems. The position is based onsite in King of Prussia, PA, with responsibilities spanning the full software lifecycle on Space program initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all stages of software development for user interfaces and services, including design, implementation, integration, testing, and verification.
- Build services that address optimization challenges such as dynamic programming, nonlinear optimization, and over constrained planning problems.
- Dynamically optimize terrestrial and space based systems to align with prioritized mission requirements.
- Collaborate in small, fast paced Agile Scrum teams dedicated to delivering products to program customers.
Requirements
- Extensive proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript.
- Experience containerizing applications in cloud environments using Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and Containerd (including platforms such as AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift).
- Background in Agile development with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience with CI/CD, deployment pipelines, automated builds, and configuration tools such as GitLab and ArgoCD.
- U.S. citizenship with eligibility to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
