Jr. Software Engineer - Commercial Money Movement - USC and GC Candidates ONLY

Hudson Manpower is seeking a junior software engineer to contribute to commercial money movement initiatives within the Direct platform. This onsite role in Cincinnati, Ohio focuses on building and modernizing applications using Java, Node.js, and Spring/Spring Boot. The position is open to USC and GC candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Direct platform applications using Java and Node.js.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices and code reviews.
• Integrate diverse systems and applications to ensure smooth data flow and functionality.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to bring modernization solutions into existing systems.
• Work with APIs and web services to enable interoperability.
• Optimize applications and infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to ongoing infrastructure improvements to support growing business needs.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java and Node.js.
• Experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Testing and debugging capabilities.
• Database management and SQL skills.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive software documentation.
